I like everything I write to sound sinister with a hint of satirical violence or madness thrown in...so it's on the cusp of sounding a bit cheery but also sad at the same time... it's not so much a conscious effort it just happens... I just see 'the dead' returning back to life and devouring the living... so I like mak...ing my guitar scream or hit notes which wouldn't usually 'go'... I like building riffs or passages around awkward parts... because I'm awkward... I'm difficult... I like thngs to sound unpredictable or difficult...Read More

I see this huge desolate graveyard filled with ghosts and ghouls getting down on it and making with the 'boogie''... I see haunted castles... I like my bass to sound like a big oak door slamming shut... and my guitar to sound like the volts of electricity which were fired into Frankensteins monsters corpse... I see th...ings in 'black and white'... I just love 'kook' I love 'strange'... I want to compose rock music for the dead hahahaRead More

I collect silver screen horror movies... mostly James Whale stuff... I have this ghoulish sound inside of me... theres this Hammer Horror movie stuck on repeat in my creative mind... so whenever I pick up my guitar I find myself expressing how I feel in that way... that kind of shit has had a huge impact and influence ...on my musical psychology... it effects my tone... everything... I like my tone to sound like an empty coffin and really 'wooden'... not in a static sense but in terms of tonality... timbre... I hear the bride of Frankenstein in the intro for 'Fuck off and Die'... hear her screaming in horror at her own reflection... yeah I'm weird hahaha I'm all about 'weird' with rock/metal music...Read More

Reece Laker I'm familiar with all of his work... I'm a fanatical fan hehehe how about you??? I love gloomy or 'graveyard chic' themed music... I like 'weird'... I like 'strange'... I like everything to sound like it's from a b-movie... I just like things to sound 'creepy'...
