Upon first impression, "Far from Expected" did not pique my interest, and also, I think this new slogan can go either way. To some people, it can be "Far from Expected" as in it was MORE than what they had expected and will be back...

Or, it can be "Far from Expected" and it was unimpressive to them.

This place deserves a flashy and catchy slogan that will remain in their heads long after they've left.

How about something like "The Great Basin of Expectations!" or "Experience The Unexpected!"

Why do most men dislike Oprah?? Maybe it's the power she has , that they can't get?

Oh No! Oprah has provided us with a lot of information and a flow of emotions over the years. I am sure there are a lot of us that will miss those afternoon cries. I am personally sorry to see this show come to an end.

It is unfortunate that these guidelines also discourage women from doing self exam. So no routine mammogram for you if you're less than 50 and no self exam so you don't find anything that would cause a "useless" trip to the doctor. These guidelines are from US Preventive Services Task Force. If you really read through it, there is just cost-... Read Morereduction written all over the place. They're saying: radiation exposure; they're saying too: no advantage of doing digital mammogram and/or MRI over regular X-ray mammo. Yes, because the latter are more expensive but are clearly indicated in a lot of cases.
I AM for the assessment of risk VS benefit. Applies to my regular life and professional life. But this unfortunate situation is happening because breast CA awareness is so out there: a target for these risk VS benefit studies. Each agency gets lost in their own agenda. Into the details of a particular patient population. There are no such "powerful" agencies that would enforce guidelines in other arenas or other patient populations. Let me cite a specific example: patients who go to the ER for headaches, even several times a month will have CT scans (talk about radiation exposure) even if the previous ones were negative. Even with a normal neuro exam, and without ominous features. I know this is not a "routine" type of situation but my point exactly! Problem with health care is that people get lost in the details. Look at the overall picture. Target more patient populations.

I have a wonderfully beautiful friend back in Michigan who, at 28, has been diagnosed with breast cancer. 28! I had an aunt die at 34 (back in the early 80's) from breast cancer. Ladies, pay no attention to these 'guidelines' for when you should get mammograms. They should be as regular as any other health check. The stated 'delay' is only another ploy for medical specialists to make money. There is more money to be made from the sick and dying than the healthy.

its a few streets over from the school its just precaution and if you think about it...... they are making parents drive there kids to school because we all know how curious kids are.......this school has gone in to code red status before, they know what they are doing.

All of my kids went to school there and I garauntee they would not be attending school today via the back door

I think she was a pawn in a game that she was not prepared for. Do I think she was told how to talk and behave, "you betcha." Yes, I would like to read her book. I am sure it will be enlightening.

I was not much of a fan of hers, during the election, but I saw Oprah yesterday and even though I don't agree with her political views, I think that as a person, she an inspiration. Our political parties are so corrupt! Yes I would read her book.

I've been unemployed for 14 months now and still nothing out there. So the answer to your question is NO!
