
Reston Museum Meet Author Jim Kirby Saturday, November 14, 2:00 PM Reston Museum presents Reston photographer JIM KIRBY with his first book, “Harper’s Ferry, A Crossroads in Time”. In time for the 150th anniversary of John Brown's raid on Harpers Ferry, local photographer Jim Kirby presents his beautiful book exploring the cultural and natural history of Harpers Ferry in photographs.

Reston Museum RHT Home Tour 2009 - A Continuing Success, Thank You! The 8th annual Reston Home Tour on Oct 17 featured five extraordinary private homes open to the public for a self-conducted tour of the unique interior design and architecture in the neighborhoods of Reston. Tour-goers also got a glimpse of the past at the Fairfax Hunt Club along with a chef's demonstration and tasting from J.R.'s Stockyards Inn.

Reston Museum Museum Guided Tours - Saturdays 12:15 PM The guided tours, for children and adults, will review the early plans for Reston dating back to the early 1960s. The weekly presentations will also include a walking tour of Washington Plaza at the historic Lake Anne Village Center
