Christian Croft In regards to Podcast/ video lectures. I find them fantastic and inspiring. Enjoy listening to them while I do groundwater assignments. The studies in the Bay Area are so inter-linked and great model for how different agenices can work together to improve and protect society and the environment. Quakes, contaminants, slides, and rehabilitation of esturaies.

Dave Pratt Hey there. I'm with USGS in Sacramento. Great group of people to work with, doing good science and trying our hardest to make good on the taxpayers dollars. Visit our website www.usgs.gov for realtime data on streams, earthquakes, and much more.

Gregg D'Albert Great agency, great website. As an Angeleno, I've been a faithful contributor to the "Did You Feel It?" section of earthquake.gov for years. I hope it's helped your research somehow!

@Cristina: Awesome! Glad you like it! That makes me happy since I'm one of the lead developers of the site. Assuming, of course, you're talking about www.usgs.gov :)

David Rankin Can anyone recommend how one would get into the Water Use & Management field in California with a degree in economics?
What should I look for?
Or do I really need to go back to school to study hydrology.
Thanks for any tips!
