Windows 7 is coming 10/22. It's a more functional, more stable OS built on Vista. It's faster than Vista, even faster than Windows XP was. There's a downside for XP users though, you can't upgrade directly from XP to 7, it requires a fresh install. For those not brave enough to tackle that, you know who to contact. ...(that would be us) - 7 performs well on older hardware too, so a new computer isn't a necessity!Read More

If you are in the market for a new PC right now, enlightek recommends Windows Vista Ultimate. But if you're toying with the idea of upgrading to Vista, you might want to consider holding off. Microsoft had a lot of performance and compatibility issues with Vista at its launch. Those i...ssues have been resolved, but the PR damage was done, and MS is fast-tracking it's next OS, Windows 7 to be released within a year, possibly by 4th quarter 2009. Windows will basically be a faster, more stable version of Vista, with some nice additional features thrown in for good measure.Read More
