Im playing a headline set at The Secret Music Club this Wednesday - Hope you can make it.
The early part of the evening from 8.30pm is an open mic, so if you fancy performing a song or two, or a poem perhaps - then please do - you'll be most welcome.
Im playing a good length set at around tenish - featuring my pi...ano instrumentals and songs.
Its FREE in and a great opportunity to check out this relatively new addition to the local music scene.

Hello there
hope youre well
Just a friendly invite to come and hear me playing a set of my songs (ie songs with words as opposed to the piano instrumentals I sometimes perform) at the lovely Bohemian Jukebox event on Tuesday July 29th.
Since I last played the Jukebox its moved to what is very possibly the best pub in Mose...ley or Kings Heath at the moment, the Hare & Hounds in Kings Heath (corner of the High Street and York Road).
You can get an idea what my songs are like by listening to the track "Sucking Up (live)" on my facebook page - its one of my more melancholy numbers, but it does end up in a nice warm place. Im going to be playing quite a few new ones too.
The rest of the bill looks really strong, so do please come down and enjoy them:
The Lazy Lizards
Impassioned and powerfully arranged songs with a strong sense of social consciousness. There are shades of the 1960's psychedelia of Arthur Lee's Love within 'em.
Pony Chair Black
Emotionally-charged stories deceptively presented in pop wrapping. Catchy tunes that tell tales of lives spent living, loving, losing, despairing and, just occasionally, winning.
Tom Peel
Ivor Culter-esque up-tempo, uplifting folk-rock blues from an excitable and instantly likable fellow.
Doors are at 8:30pm, the first act is on at 9pm. It's £4 in, and your first shot of Sebor Absinth costs one pound!

Hi Folks - the recording of Sucking Up on this page is not only exclusive to this Facebook page, but is the first release of any kind anywhere of any of my songs (it has singing in as well as piano playing).
Its a live recording from my concert at the Old Joint Stock Theatre in Sept 2007 and was recorded by Marc Reck on... his binaural microphones - thanks Marc.
