The first Lunch & Learn Networking Event in Edinburgh last Friday
was very successful. So much so, that the audience asked when the next
one would be before I got a chance to ask them!!!
This is a
great format with which to educate your clients/students/mentees and at
the same time learn what your audience wants and needs t...o help them in
their own businesses.
In this case, as an Independent Marketer
for iLearningGlobal, with the help of two of my STAR fellow marketers
John & Debs Rice, we were able to utilise one of Dr Ivan Misner's
Courses from the EDGE (Expert Direct Guided Education) programme and
deliver a practical 'skills workshop' on '10 Traits of a Master
Networker'.
The response was outstanding and John, Debs and I
are busy considering what topic to cover next month (Jan 15th). With
over $4m worth of expert material from many of the world's TOP BUSINESS
COACHES inc BRIAN TRACY, DR JOHN GRAY, Billionaire BILL BARTMAN,
Property Guru DOLF DE ROOS AND Millionaire Mindset author T HARV EKER,
it isn't an easy choice.... I want to give them everything at once!!!
This
was NOT a sales pitch or formal presentation for iLearningGlobal, but
by using the 'tools' I was able to dispense valuable knowledge about
networking from my own experiences of the past 6 years with SPNC and
Richbrits WAE and to use the expertise of probably the world's most
successful Networker, Dr IVAN MISNER,(Founder of BNI) via a 7 minute
video and a written worksheet which was downloaded and printed out from
the programme for everyone to use and take away with them.
This
created a WIN/WIN situation and has also resulted in some keen interest
in ILG from a number of attendees which is a much nicer way to
introduce the business opportunity with iLearningGlobal.... the
audience got to see the product in action and we got to see their
reaction.
As we broke for lunch, this gave everyone a genuine
networking opportunity and it is a pleasure for me to see some new
friendships starting to form.
