Capital Ale House
Oktoberfest is a sixteen-day festival held each year in Munich, Germany during late September and running into early October. We will celebrate the same number of days with German food specials, German beers and exciting events throughout our Fest. Each Friday and Saturday during the festival, we’ll present live German... beer-drinking and dancing music to compliment the great traditional Bavarian foods and beers.
September 18th & 19th at our Downtown Richmond Restaurant & Music Hall the entertainment will be provided by the SGTEV Hirschjager German dancers and music by the Continentals.
September 18th & 19th at our Midlothian location the celebrations will take place under our giant “Fest Tent”. Here the entertainment will be provided by the SGTEV Hirschjager German dancers and music by the Heidi und Heimat Echo Band.
September 25th & 26th at our Innsbrook location the celebration will take place at the Innsbrook Shoppes Courtyard within our giant “Fest Tent”! Here the entertainment will be provided by the SGTEV Hirschjager German dancers and music by the Heidi und Heimat Echo Band.
October 3rd at our Historic Downtown Fredericksburg location the celebration will take place in the street. We will close off the entire 900 block of Caroline St. Here the entertainment will be provided by the SGTEV Hirschjager German dancers and music by the Continentals.
There is no cover charge and each guest of legal drinking age will receive a complimentary traditional 1-liter Capital Ale House stein upon entry. Families are welcome however anyone under the age of 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The Richmond, Innsbrook and Midlothian events begin at 5:00pm each night and will last until closing at 1:30am. The Fredericksburg event begins at noon and ends at 1:30am.
A family friendly-balloon twister will be at all locations to entertain the kids early in the evenings on Saturdays and Saturday afternoon in Fredericksburg.
Fill your stein with your choice any Paulaner or Hacker Pschorr beers on draft.
Menu items will include: Giant pretzels with sweet mustard, bratwurst, knockwurst, sauerbraten and dumplings with ginger snap gravy, Jaegerschnitzel, Roast Chicken, German potato salad, red cabbage and sauerkraut as well as our regular menu offerings in the restaurant.

When you make a $5 donation, you will be registered in a drawing to be held at
the close of the Saturday October 3rd Oktoberfest celebration in Fredericksburg.
The winner gets a trip for two to the 2010 Oktoberfest in Munich and VIP
hospitality at the Paulaner tent as well as two nights accommodations in Munich (compliments of Paulaner HPUSA). Airfare included (paid by Capital Ale House).
All donations will be presented to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Raffle coasters can be purchased at any Capital Ale House location.
September 22: Steal the Glass Night at all locations featuring Paulaner Brewery.
We will be pouring Paulaner & Hacker Pschorr beers in the breweries logo glassware.
