Richmond Sunlight I moved Richmond Sunlight to a dedicated server today, which is provided and hosted by Blue Ridge Internetworks (http://www.briworks.com/) 100% free of charge. This has the immediate effect of making the site a great deal faster, but it's also going to facilitate lots of new features.

Check out VPAP's new lobbyist disclosures. They're connecting the dots between money and politics in a really direct way with this new feature. It's brilliant.

Richmond Sunlight I've just added a useful new feature—partisanship rankings for legislators, that display how far to the left or the right that a given legislator is. For instance, on Del. Watkins Abbitt's page you can see that he, one of the two independent members of the legislature, is right of center. This calculation is performed automatically, daily, using the legislators' bill copatroning histories.
