John Henry Rice, VMFA Associate Curator of South Asian and Islamic Art, examines important Mughal objects and monuments, including select objects from VMFA’s collections, on view solely for this lecture.

Join VMFA for an evening of chills, thrills, and artistic skills! Participate in eerie art activities, spooky stories, ghostly games, and a terrifying tour of the Pauley Center Buildi...ng. In addition, there will be a wicked workshop inspired by Richmond artist, Noah Scalin’s “Skull-A-Day” project. Visitors can create their very own unique skull; completed projects will then be photographed and submitted as a slideshow to Scalin’s award-winning blog.
