Once again, Riff Raff Theater hosted the Rocky Horror Picture Show at the Englert Theater on Halloween night!
Much thanks to Sean at The Englert Theater here in Iowa City for having us. It was an AWESOME night. Not only was the crowd ‘moderately’ behaved, but we had even MORE Transylvanians than last year.

This is your chance to write jokes for Elektra! Our preferred format is an Excel spreadsheet. For each joke, use column A for the time into the movie, column B for a descriptive cue, and column C for the joke. Send your scripts to david@pinkston.org by the end of Sunday August 30 for a chance to hear us use your line!

Imagine Daredevil without Ben Affleck and a lot more Jennifer Garner (and by a lot more, I mean two things: she's the star this time, and she's pregnant in several scenes). Throw in a ridiculous number of ninja that go "poof" when you kill them and you have enough cannon fodder for the next subject of Riff Raff Theater...: ELEKTRA! We'll be shouting plenty of jokes at the screen to ease the pain.

How unimpressive can this sound? "From the Director who brought you 'Mortal Kombat', 'Event Horizon', and 'Death Race'!" Is that bottom of the barrel enough? Alright, good. Are you ready to see this film roasted, toasted, and burnt to a crisp (leaving only the fresh scent of pine?) GOOD.
Riff Raff Theater is holding the... gas and the matches, and they're flipping the bitch May 8th! Chris, Todd, and Danuuc, armed with the jokes that YOU submitted, perform a comedic send-up of this strangely gore-less horror flick! (Seriously, we finally get Aliens and Predators in the same place, WITH humans, and there's almost no blood. It's like PG Porn!)
Join us at the Englert, and we promise you'll never see this movie the same way again!
Whoever wins is mostly moot, because it's still all crap.
