Examine your vacuum pump for external parts that may need replacing, such as intake fittings, leg assemblies, etc. Your pump now has a clean bill of health and is ready to take a well-deserved winter break! Enjoy the snow!

Ritchie YELLOW JACKET 4. Drain the oil and replace the drain plug. Turn pump on for 3 to 4 seconds and then off for 3 to 4 seconds – two times. This helps to drain the last of the oil from the inside of the pump cartridge. 5. Refill the pump with fresh YELLOW JACKET® vacuum pump oil. 6. Using a mild degreaser, clean the exterior of the pump.... Clean, well maintained tools are the true mark of a professional!

Ritchie YELLOW JACKET 1. Check and maintain or replace the following parts as necessary: O-rings inside the intake fitting caps, gas ballast and oil drain. 2. Drain oil from the reservoir. 3. Fill the pump with clean vacuum pump oil. Secure intake caps, close gas ballast and blank-off valve. Run pump on the bench for 1/2 hour to ensure the oil is very warm.Turn off the pump.
