Located on the fourth floor of Carilion Roanoke, Community Hospital, The Dog House provides a place for our students to relax, study or just hang out with friends.

On Sept. 19, 2009, several JCHS students and staff participated in the 14th Annual Marine 5K Mud Run at Greenhill Park in Roanoke, Virginia. Proceeds from entry fees for the event go to support local charities in the Roanoke area, including Toys for Tots and Camp Roanoke, a camp for underprivledged children. The 2009 JCHS Parish Nursing class graduated on Aug. 29, 2009 at Mays Memorial United Methodist Church in Stewartsville, VA. The graduates were Joyce Crawford, Cindy Hodges, Judy Meador, Martha Pelish, Dee Pennington, Annita Nelson and Susan Alexson.
All are employees at Carilion Clinic.
