Jefferson College of Health Sciences On Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, JCHS celebrated our 2009 Winter Commencement Ceremony. Twenty-seven graduates became alumni after receiving their Baccalaureate and Associate degrees. The event took place in Fitzpatrick Hall of the Jefferson Center in Roanoke, Virginia. On Friday, Dec. 18, 2009, JCHS celebrated our 2009 Winter Commencement Ceremony. Twenty-seven graduates became alumni after receiving their Baccalaureate and Associate degrees.
Jefferson College of Health Sciences On Dec. 9, 2009, The JCHS VOICE (Violence Can End) Program held an event to decorate the JCHS holiday tree in the Dog House, the College's Student Union. At the event, participants made a pledge to use their VOICE to help end violence. They signed the pledge by autographing a holiday ornament and placing it on the JCHS... tree. The pledge was that students, faculty and staff would agree to be an active bystander and speak up or seek help if they witness any kind of violence or abuse. It was a fun time that also helped raise awareness!

Students, faculty and staff were invited to "travel" through different countries with each participating program or department, sampling food and having th...eir passports stamped for a chance to win prizes.
