A message from Rob Roy: As I write this, on the morning of May 18th, the deadline to have voter registration in the mail is tomorrow, Monday May 19th. Voter registration forms and mailboxes are easy things to find (unfortunately, not as easy as excuses)...
An Anonymous individual posted the following on the Davis Vanguard today: A vote for Rob Roy is a vote for Davis's cranky, loud-talking and/ but whole-hearted working class dudes who used to shoot the righteous bull in Mr. B's (aka A.J. Bumpps)...

Candidates will answer these 3 questions:
1) What is your experience working with large budgets such as a city has with multiple departments with large staff and benefit packages and how might your budgetary experience help with meeting rapidly rising prices for gasoline and goods needed to run our city?
2) What is your ...opinion of the present proposal for the Cannery Park which has been proposed by Lewis Planned Communities? And, what is your assessment of how the plans will fill the needs for housing and/or commercial development for the City of Davis? (Note: The present City Council has requested a "nonresidential viability study" from the developer and also there is General Plan Housing Element Update due this spring both of which could have an impact on the city's use for the 100 acre site. See Davis Enterprise article on Jan. 16, 2008. )
3) Since recent studies show that civility has been declining in our society, what measures would you propose to ensure civil discourse at City Council Meetings?
... then there will be questions from the audience with short time limits (1 to 2 minutes) to answer in order to answer the maximum number of questions in the time allotted for the program.
