Robert Solheim

After more than 15 years of experience in the music business, Aquavit Records was founded by visual/audio artist Michael Snyder (aka eidetaker) and composer/producer/DJ Robert Solheim in 2008 through their collaboration project Aquavit. Their endeavour is to release electronic music that is completely unrestricted and ...refined. Crossing genres from ambient sound scape to idm, through indie-dance to deep house and techno. Defining new sounds for the well developed ear. Apart from being in Aquavit together, both are working on their solo projects as well as with other artists. Michael is currently producing several remix, sound-design and vocal projects, including his first solo EP to be released in the beginning of 2010. Robert has several ambient and ambient-techno releases behind him as Current and also wrote and produced the music for the dark-electro act The Opiates. Currently he is Djing and doing live performances in various clubs and discos in Spain, and releasing deep-techno under his own name. Collaborating with other labels in Spain, he also has upcoming releases on Overflow records and NeoVinyl. Aquavit Records will also include releases and remixes from artists like Baldo (NeoVinyl, Dubhe Recordings, Flumo), and Shaka (Morris/Audi, revolver) to name a few.
