Oinktoberfest 2008 is past history but in spite of the weather, the crowds were great & everyone enjoyed themselves. They ate BBQ, drank beer, listened to great blues bands, walked the festival grounds, talked to the competing teams, and watched the pumpkin cannon shoot its pumpkins. ...

Hey everyone...looking for some feedback here. We are considering hosting a bbq competition at the Brockport Summer Arts Festival in 2010. Brockport is just about 20 mins west of Rochester. The event is the first ful weekend in August annually. We don't want to compete with the Roc City Rib Fest, but think another loca...l competition might be within reason. The event would be to benefit the local Rotary Club and a service organization called BISCO. Give me your thoughts please... AGAIN.. not trying to compete with the Roc City RIb Fest as it is a GREAT event!Read More
