Rock Springs Main Street sadly has to cancel the "Santa's Reindeer" event. . . .Santa's reindeer will be busy playing reindeer games and will not be available for viewing in the downtown this weekend. Please pass the word and still considering visiting the local shops and eateries.
Rock Springs Main Street (officially today) . . . has the Wyoming Business Council "STAFF RECOMMENDATION" for our $1.5 million grant for the downtown theater . . . next stop. . . WBC Board meeting on December 3. . .THANK YOU WYOMING BUSINESS COUNCIL!

Rock Springs Main Street got the word from the Mayor and Chamber. . . TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY is going ot be scheduled on FRIDAY, DEC. 4th at 6pm ~ ~ ~ This is a change from past years. Cookies and hot cocoa will be served in city hall after the lighting. The HOLIDAY PARADE is still scheduled for SATURDAY, DEC 5th.

Rock Springs Main Street is discussing with the Rock Springs chamber the idea of some event or activity to have AFTER the big Christmas parade. . . like the old street dances in the snow (with chili cooking on the sidewalks) or. . . . maybe when the theater is done we can show a Christmas movie. . . does anyone have any other ideas or thoughts???
