Rodney Fox Great White Shark Expeditions While we wait onshore, heres another selection of pictures from the last expedition now a couple weeks ago. We cant wait to get out there again!

This last expedition of the Winter Season produced fabulous shark action, weather, water visibility, and as much fun as any other date experienced before this year.

This is a very good sign for the start of the Summer season in just a few weeks time. Hope to see you there!

Peter Jones hi all, i am big shark admirer from uk. hopefully next time i am in australia i can join up for an expedition? i was reading a story in a local uk paper just the other day about a large great white eating other smaller great whites. il try an attach he story, have you heard much about this? http://www.dailystar.co.uk/posts/view/105577/Terror-of-the-great-bite-shark/

Hi Peter, thanks for the link! Yes that story is just getting bigger and wilder, esp. as always with the UK press! :o)

I always hate to let facts get in the way of a good story,..... but we do know that a 4.5-5 metre Great White (like the big boy here in our profile picture) can have jaws and a bite radius as large as 5-6 metre specimens!

Any evidence of the normally more discreet giant size great whites is always more than sensational, but the big shark may not be anything that over-the-top-remarkable down here... especially considering that the removed chunks from the caught shark were caused by multiple shaking bites.... It is certainly not news that adult great whites are always continually migrating close in along much of Australias' coastline. But of course this is all simply an irresistible story about this amazing animal, and a dramatic image like that cant help but amaze!! I Look forward to meeting you down here soon and introducing you to these giants live, and face to face!

Southern Australias fascinating weedy seadragons feature below. To see these beautiful animals and the even more elaborate and spectacular weedy sea dragon live in person, we can organize special private offshore dive group charters onboard our expedition vessel Princess II. These dive group charters can combine drago......ns, sharks and access to other unique local species, into a mixed group liveaboard itinarary. Contact us on our website for expressions of interest!

Smaller groups or Individuals should contact our friend and expert sea dragon guide, Carey "That Dragon Guy" Harmer for the very best photographic opportunities. Carey was our sea dragon guide on board Howard Halls Under the Sea 3D IMAX shoot. For contact here see Careys website www.leafyseadragontours.com.au

They are creatures immortalised in fictional bestsellers like Herman Melville's novel Moby Dick. But these ultra-rare images of a colossal sperm whale feeding on a giant squid are the real thing.

Duncan Bts

Duncan Bts I fully support what you guys are doing. This kind of thing creates an economic incentive to conserve shark populations. I wish it didn't all come down to money but in our society that often is the bottom line. Please check out my page against shark finning http://www.facebook.com/StopSharkFinning

Thanks and great Page Duncan! yes , we find that peoples attitude towards sharks does change upon seeing them. Our expeditions also support research studies and act as a platform for film crews and journalists and photographers to share these amazing creatures with the rest of public. They need to be appreciated!

Rob Mueller I guess it's just lucky for us that Charcarius Megladon is extinct! But the cage diving would be fun...just need a bigger one so the cage doesnt dissappear into it's mouth!

Gregory Soucie

Gregory Soucie Thank you for all that you do!!! It is a great pleasure to browse your photos and hear about your exciting adventures. One day I'll make it down to Australia to dive with you all!! If you need any more of the shark key chains, please let me know?
