No pork in the bill would be great but to honestly say that the pork-barrel spending is so bad that you would rather kick somebody out into the cold to sleep under a bridge in the middle of December than pay for that says a lot about your character, sir. I don't care for your reasons or excuses because that is exactly what you are advocating for when you make votes like this. I hope you have a primary challenger b/c they will certainly have my vote and my dollars.

You deficit scolds need to take a hike and let the rest of us focus on fixing this country so it works for ALL OF US again. Sometimes you have so spend money so you can make money, sir. We have to spend money so our economy is viable again. Help us out and can it with the deficit talk it's not a major concern we have 0% interest right now and will for sometime. When the fed raises interest rates .1% then you can talk about deficits. Until then, take it from someone living on the poverty level and working two jobs- SHUT IT!

We need to find a way to extricate ourselves from Afghanistan. There are arguments on both sides, but military force will continue to serve as an effective recruiting tool for both the Taliban and al Qaeda.
