Round Rock Public Library We had an awesome teen book club last night with local authors Christine and Ethan Rose talking abou their debut book, Rowan of the Woods. Check out Christine's blog about how much they enjoyed meeting the Library teens.

The group had chosen our first book (Rowan of the Wood) to read as this month’s selection, and they all loved it. One of the teens had already gotten (& read!) Witch on the Water to have us sign that night.
Round Rock Public Library New ESL audio available in 24 languages including Arabic, Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Spanish, Tagalog, and Vietnamese. The addition of this collection was made possible by a grant from the Round Rock Chaparral Women’s Club.

Round Rock Public Library Sat Nov 14th is National Gaming Day & here at the Library we have a Teen Gaming Tournament with Mario Kart Double Dash & Open Play on the Wii & DDR. Round Rock Public Library This morning a librarian heard on KUT that the Bob Bullock Museum announced a partnership for a big oral/visual history project. The spokesperson specifically mentioned Tweed Scott’s Texas in Her Own Words as exemplifying the special quality of Texan storytelling. RRPL knows how to pick ‘em. We selected this book for Round Rock Reads 2008!

Round Rock Public Library Today I found our Library snake, Rocksssane, bathing in her drinking water, so decided it was time for one of her "spa" baths (away from drinking water!), and she dived right in. Wanting to bathe and some of her scales being pink suggests she is ready to shed. You can visit the Library and see Rocksssane in the the Youth Services office opposite the elevator on the first floor
