We're taking a quick break from the studio and heading to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, for a few days. I'm looking forward to relaxing on a beach and reenergizing before all the holiday madness begins.

For the first time, I'm listing one of my original works on eBay. It has been a very busy year and keeping up with orders and requests has made it tough to offer anything outside of the shows. Rucus Studio All packed up and reading to head off to Northville for the 3rd annual Ghoultide Gathering. Looks like it might be soggy weekend, but luckily the art is all inside the historic and charming buildings of Mill Race Village. We'll have tents up outside for those who plan to get in line early. After many sleepless nights and a great deal of stress, I finally have things finished for Halloween and Vine on September 26th in Petaluma, CA. Four boxes are heading out the door to FedEx.

Back from a wonderful time in Sacramento, seeing friends and amazing antique Christmas at the convention.
Got to do a little shopping in San Francisco and found the coolest gallery, Obsolete. They have incredible art and antiques.

Just had a very nice visit and lunch with Suzanne Myal of Artistry of Poland. Suzanne approached me a month ago to design a glass ornament for her company. The prototype is in production and will be shown in September. Below is my illustration of the Traditional Santa. My design is based on an antique German candy container.
