Robert Martin How difficult would it be to add a Bluetooth heart rate monitor? I see polar make one (I'm obsessed with my heart rate). Also using the in build sensors the amount of steps could be measured Ideal for when you lose gps coverage. As you would be able to calculate the persons gate over a period of time and us this when running inside or out of coverage.

Only been using the free version for a week, Walking, Running, Cycling, love it! Pity I can't swim with it.
Think I'll be updating to Pro.

Blair Bonnell You guys rock, but you need a facebook app. I don't know what features to put on it, but you guys are smart enough to figure it out. It is the only app on facebook I would use.

Ashish this is one of my most favorite apps on iPhone. Thanks guys and keep up the good work!!

Ryan Joppen I as well Just Stepped up and Purchased RK Pro. I've been rediculously impressed with the Free Version, and look forward to using it for ever run up here in Canada.

Rockheadz Hr
Just ran with the new RKpro update yesterday it worked perfectly I got rid of my $250.00 stand alone gps watch its not needed anymore. Thanks
RK pro

Ryan Barron new feature idea: what about audio cues for your average pace in your current mile? I'd like it.

RunKeeper Rumor starts here: RunKeeper on pg. 93 of Runner's World Aug 09 issue, on newstands now. Hat tip to @onesweeterlife for letting me know. Anyone see it? We still haven't!

Ric Crawley
Just stepped up and purchased RKPro .
I loved RK

Thanks for the support, enjoy it! We're working on more new features as we speak.

RunKeeper RK user @web_goddess posted a review of our new RK Pro training feature http://bit.ly/chDIs
Source: bit.ly
I know I've mentioned this before, but if you have an iPhone and you run/walk/cycle/ski/hike outdoors, you should get RunKeeper NOW. It's so good. It uses GPS to track your distance and speed, and it's a lot more accurate than Nike+. ...

RunKeeper RK Pro is the #1 paid health/fitness app in the Netherlands http://twitpic.com/8zrl3 Thanks to @gideon_R for the link!

RunKeeper RK team meeting in 20 minutes. 1st on the agenda. . . new features! What, did you think we were going to let up?
Frans at 12:51am July 2
More input to the new RK Pro release: Did interval training with it yesterday. Two things bug me:
One - The interval distances cannot be picked freely. My training schedule required 8 400m intervals yesterday, but I could only set 500m intervals in RK. To show my loyalty, I changed my workout routine to 7x500m, but still, should be able to just pick any interval.
Two - it would be good if the voice would tell you your actual completion time and average pace per interval, after completing it. Now I can only get an update every 5 mins or every km, neither one of which makes much sense during an interval run where I want to know how i did on the fast bits.... Read More
Other than that: Once again a great update. Can't wait for the next one. The possibilities seem endless. Keep it up!!!

Weather would be a nice feature. Maybe a start and stop temp, humidity, wind, etc.. Even better record that info at intervals during each workout and give a checkbox selection for each to add them to the workout graph?
Another feature (for website, not app) might be a "Find Runners Near You" search function. Perhaps allow the search to filter by ... Read Moreevent type, distance, pace, etc..
I'll apologize now if these requests have already been mentioned/discussed. New to the application and haven't been all the way through the forums, but really liking the app so far. Keep up the great work!

LOL, try resending (history, activity, options, resend to runkeeper.com) and it should fix this. Or leave it to show off!

Juho at 2:01pm July 1
Yahii! That works! thx!:)

RunKeeper Have any RunKeeper users noticed the improvements we've made to elevation in the speed/elevation chart? Should be much better now
Jodi at 5:06pm July 1
Today was actually the first time I noticed weirdness in it. I had a 10 mph spike at one point when I'm pretty sure I was not finding any extra "kick" from my usual 4.5-5.
RunKeeper at 6:10pm July 1
That isn't an elevation spike, it is a speed spike, which is caused by temporary loss of gps signal (either poor coverage spot, under thick trees, a bridge, etc. The good news is the effect on total stats and averages is negligible.

RunKeeper 4 hours sleep and a day FULL of customer support hell w/ the big new release. But customer support hell is community-building heaven :-)
Paige at 2:43pm July 1
My runkeeper hasn't been working for about 3 weeks.
RunKeeper at 3:28pm July 1
Paige, if you send us an email to support@runkeeper.com or post in the forum with some specifics (http://www.runkeeper.com/f orum), I'll be glad to help!

RunKeeper OK gang---RK Pro went from #21 to #13 since last night in health/fitness rankings. RK Free is at #6. ONWARD! ;-)

Joe Owens The updated version crashed on me 15 seconds into my run this morning :-(

Enrique
Hi, i use to have only the free version, but after you guys improve the RK pro, i decide to buy it, now i have it and im ready to use it, but my only constern or question is.... the information already saved ( the one with the RK free) can be transfer to the RK pro? or how can i made sure i can keep saving my progress in the same website? Thanks for quick reply.
Enrique

RunKeeper at 12:21pm July 1
Currently, there is no way to transfer history from the website to the app. All of your data should be safe on the website, and if you re-enter your email/password on the device, new activities should post to the same account.

Nick Upgraded to pro this morning and went for a run to test it out, very happy that I did. The interval training is awesome, thanks for allowing me to leave my stopwatch at home.
RunKeeper at 12:21pm July 1
woo hoo! ;-)

RunKeeper It's official (may take time to propogate to all the itunes), the new RK Pro build is now live! This one with training workouts http://bit.ly/ziwmr (time-based/distance-based interval workouts through your headphones)
Mark at 8:11pm June 30
Tested out the new version a couple of hours ago. Initially had to delete and reinstall it. Kept freezing. After that, worked great. Good job!

Juho at 2:11am July 1
Woohoo! Finally! :)

Nick Boydd Is there any way of getting RunKeeper tshirts to advertise this product even if we have to pay for them? I've been using it for several months now and i dont think i could live without it now, its fantastic!

RunKeeper Check out this innovative use of RunKeeper --- speed skating by @mellesies

Zeon at 6:55pm June 30
Thats tite! I find I use RK in so many ways not exclusive to the roll down menu. Maybe in a future release we get some "optional other" manually entered activities? ie. Speed Skating, Parading?
RunKeeper at 9:13pm June 30
Zeon, skating is in the new version of RK Pro that went live tonight. Good idea on the manual stuff, maybe in a future release :)

RunKeeper no lie, I posted that about print mags and another one came calling within 5 minutes. (breathe)
RunKeeper at 2:52pm June 30
Whether it is or it isn't, if your friend is a managing editor there, you should be singing our praises ;-)
RunKeeper at 3:25pm June 30
That's fantastic, THANK YOU! Of course the product has to be great, but this kind of support from you and the entire RK community will be the key to pulling off what the rest of the world thinks we can't (and what all of us know we will)

RunKeeper These inbound press inquiries are great---another big print magazine just came to us. Anyone else? :)

Jon Pfeffer My runkeeper pro also doesn't work, since the 3.0 update. You really need to send an email with official instructions about how to correct it or release an update at the app store...
RunKeeper at 7:21am June 30
This is not an issue unique to RunKeeper, it is an issue with Apple's OS 3.0 upgrade process that is affecting many apps. A simple delete and reinstall of the RunKeeper application will fix this completely. You will not be charged again. Good idea though, an email letting people know to upgrade to OS 3.0 and also what to do if there are issues may be forthcoming.

Zeon You find a marked trail then all of a sudden you are happy again. http://bit.ly/2Pzavm

Craig This application is just amazing! Its a really good helper for me now Im training up for a half marathon!
RunKeeper at 5:12pm June 30
Glad you like it, and good luck with your training!

Niall Just updated from Free to Pro. Hell Free version should be £5 anyway! Not sure if the audio prompts will be of great use to me but maybe the training programmes will. Sure to be further updates to Pro in future and we should support the developers. Nike + WHOOOOOOOO! (Can't believe i just about bought that crap.) Ace App.
