I'll be attending & filming a very cool JD collector auction of rare "High Crop" antique tractors Saturday (Aug. 22nd) out in southwest Minnesota. McGrew-Polk Auction having the sale for Mr. De Yager. I'll post link here this weekend to video from the auction. Will collectors be in the spending mood Saturday?? We'll find out.

$500,000 paid for an antique tractor?!!!! Wow!
I won't ask the highest price you paid for a tractor (but will admit plunking down $2,000 of a complete wreck of a Cockshutt once) but will invite you to share the best deal (lowest price) you've ever gotten on a tractor.

Did you know there is GOSSIP in the Rust Book? On page10, the top listing is for a 1975 Allis-Chalmers 200 with 5,600 hours in fair condition that sold on a March 2008 sale in southwest Illinois for $5,600. The comments: "CAH, 3-pt., Allied 595 loader, divorce auction: owner bought this tractor back. (Some bidders were... aware of the situation; didn't bid.)
