Last Thursday we went down to the HK Art Fair and got to check out some great stuff while catching up our good friend Simon Birch.  This was the art fair's second year which had over 110 galleries from all around the world showing pieces by some truly amazing artists...

Nine Inch Nails, Jane's Addition, and Street Sweeper (featuring Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine) are going on tour in May for the "NIN/JA Tour" and it looks like it's gonna be a pretty awesome show.  To celebrate they just uploaded a FREE EP with two unreleased tracks from each band...

I picked up the new Groovisions book "MGR" recently and it's awesome.  It features pretty much all the work done by the super talented design team since they formed in 1993.  I first noticed their work when I started recognizing their chappie characters and their popular Brockmann figures...

The Alivenotdead 2nd anniversary party is this weekend and it's going to be insane. Hardpack, 24 Herbs, Josie, FBI, Eccentric, and a bunch of other bands including myself will play so come down and rock out. Good tunes, good peeps, and a good cause

The other night a handful people were invited to King Ly Chee's practice room for a special performance of their new songs.  It was the first time anyone got to hear their new tunes along with a new line-up.  What a good way to warm up for their Philippines tour too...

Lately I've been really into The Umbrella Academy series by Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba. Released by Dark Horse comics the story is about six extraordinary kids that were adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves and raised to save the world...

After our five days in Hirafu we decided to swing by Sapporo and look around before heading back home.  It was nice checking out another town and unfortunealy we just missed the world famous Sapporo snow festival by just a few days...
