SF International Arts Festival SFIAF is looking for volunteers for our fundraising party at Jelly's nightclub on November 11th, 2009 and for the staged readings of "Wounds of the Izote" which are on November 16th and 18th. lf you want to help out and have a great time let us know!

Izote is a bilingual (English/Spanish) play that weaves together the story of three generations of one family who lived through the horror of the US funded El Salvadoran Civil War and its aftermath; the subsequent refugee migrations to the United States, the resulting formation of immigrant gangs in California cities a...nd their impacts on the US and Central America.
The first reading is on Nov. 16th at Studio Theatre, University of San Francisco, Lone Mountain Campus, Turk & Parker SF 94117
The second reading will be on Nov 18th at Centro del Pueblo, 474 Valencia Street, Second Floor Auditorium, SF 94110
