I wish they would keep this open year round, charge more for admission to cover plowing, electric etc, weve got heat in our cars so need to supply that. im sure im not the only one who would like to open year round... Anyone agree with me on the year round???

Saco closed early due to a bad season(so much rain) and it is also nearly impossible for Drive-Ins in the northeast to get new movies after Labor Day. Film companies make far fewer 35mm prints of films after peak summer season ends, and drive-ins up here just don't do enough business in the fall, so film companies won't give them new movies. The number is probably disconnected because the theater is up for lease. I do not know if the current owners plan on re-opening in the spring if they dont' find someone to lease it.

I would love to see this place goyear round, but the fans just don't come out when it gets cold. Pride's Corner was open last weekend and there were *3* cars there. If there were enough die hard fans to draw 50+ cars on Fri/Sat/Sun, you would probalby see drive-ins stay open later and later.
