i agree, offenders who repeatedly go to prison, should serve the full time. But wat about the ones who are there for something someone else did? My man is serving the last 2 months of his 1yr now and he didnt do the crime, if they review each case and the non-violent offenders get released early how is that threatining? I know a few ppl who are free on the street and should most definitly be behind bars, they are a threat.

It's unfortunate that your man fell through the cracks of justice. If your man is truely innocent and in prison for something that he didn't do then he should go through the appeal process. Even after he paroles. If he can prove that he was wrongfully imprisoned, I beleive he might be able to receive $100.00 for each day incarcerated.

I am for the death penalty when there is actually no question as to who is guilty, ie..video surveillace, multiple witnesses, photos, huge amounts of DNA evidence. I also believe there are so many crooked cops out there, and crooked DA's. DNA evidence is so easy to plant, there needs to be alot of it. This case in Ft. Hood is a no brainer, he ... See Moreneeds to die, but the last person to die in the military was I believe in 1969. In fact, the military usually doesn't even go after the death penalty. It's pathetic. This I believe was an act of terror, and needs to be treated as such. If the military unexpectedly goes after the death penalty, the sad part is that he will not only get his appeals in the military, but then gets the same privileges in civilian court as well. What a joke.

I hear you Lisa ,its going to be allot of tax payers money to protect his "rights" we will pay for his lawyers...go figure an d yes I agree that there really has to be solid evidence in a death penalty case. I would only hope that we wouldn't put anyone to death if the evidence was questioable. maybe instead of all the costly appeals they should ... See Morepay to have an indipendent source investigate the case/evidence etc aomeone who is non bias. Then again I feel some people are deamed innocent only to actually be guilty (O.J) . The bottom line is I hate the fact that we have spent so much money housing people that should of been put to death, Scott Peterson, Charles Manson and his followers,,,does anyone know how much we have spent to keep these low lifes prison all these years???

I totally agree with you Holly. I work in Social Services, and talking with Social Workers, it's impossible for them to cover every single aspect of a child's welfare, Parole is the same thing. Oversized caseloads, increasing caseloads, decrease in the numbers of employees, something always gives. ALWAYS! Humans are only capable of handling so ... See Moremany cases, visits, etc.., usually it's a breakdown starting from the top at the Administration level, not with the line staff. Administration is where the directives come from. Even though they chastise those at the bottom, the top is where they need to look first.

Big Deal, prisoners in California are moved around all the time. Not a new practice. With all the gang problems, moves are made to alleviate certain other problems in the prisons, not necessarily anything to do with him.

I am so Happy CDCR is still doing Operation BOO. we need this more often than just Halloween though..they are sick Monsters..
