California State Military Museum Busy day for a Saturday. We had 21 new soldiers from the Accesstion Task Force visiting the museum as well as over a dozen foreign officers from the Naval Postgraduate School at Monterey. We also had two Chief Petty Officers from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 16 doing the initial site survey prior to their construction project at the museum that starts on 5 December. Woo hoo!

California State Military Museum Met today with the staff of the Community Based Warrior Transtion Unit-California. Weare developing a program where wounded warriors in transition back to civilian life would serve there remaining time on active duty here at the museum. This is a win-win for the museum, the Army, and most importantly, the soldier.

California State Military Museum Yesterday, the museum received very nice collection of family photographs from Jim and Diane Bushick. The show a ancestoir's service in the US Army during World War I as well as a smaller collection of Army Air Forces memrobilia and some photograph from the early 1950's at Naval Air Station Los Alamitos.

California State Military Museum The final presentation of the evening was the Sutter Club's excellent 1st Annual (Hopefully) Veterans Day Dinner. Nice place, great people, and good food. No rubber chicken at the Sutter Club!
