They are giving $25,000 to the top 100 Non-profit companies with the most votes,... and those companies will then be in the running for the top prize of $1,000,000.

Today is Community Shred Day at the Mid-Michigan Children's Museum from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Make a donation to the MMCM to utilize the shred truck sponsored by Shred Experts of Frankenmuth. View the shredding process as your identity-sensitive documents are destroyed. Paper clips and staples are acceptable. Shredded...... paper is recycled.
Note: The PRIDE Parade will be traveling down Genesee Avenue between 11:00 a.m and 12:00 noon, so plan to come early, or a little later. Thank you for your support!Read More

Donny Brown, Drummer for the Verve Pipe, visited the MMCM to plan for the group's special concert scheduled for Saturday, November 28, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. The group will be selling their new CD, "A Family Album" after the performance.
They are also scheduled for a concert that evening at the State Theater in Bay City, a...t 7:30 p.m.

Don't miss the Festival of Trees sponsored by the Junior League of Saginaw Valley, Friday, November 13-Sunday, November 15, 2009, at Apple Mountain Resort in Freeland.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 13; 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Nov. 14; and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 15. Admission costs $3 per person at the door. Children 5 a...nd younger are admitted free. To gain entry to Festival of Trees for only $2, buy a presale ticket by calling our office at (989) 790-3763 OR bring a nonperishable food item to Festival for $1 off.
