I grew up at 323 Lake St.! Remember hearing the Styx concert, and "Lady" from my bedroom window like it was yesterday! My older sisters were at the concert... I was too young and couldn't go :( ... Also, does anyone remember when Aerosmith was new, and they played Shadowland? Amazing!
So glad they are rebuilding the bal...lroom! I'm amazed I got to grow on this amazing beach! SO lucky! Cannot believe my family sold the house!! Ugh.
Allen Norton I saw my first rock concert in the 70's at Shadowland Ballroom.The band was a little known outfit out of Chicago named Styx! Glad to see the beach is still rocking.

MINNEAPOLIS - St. Joseph's Silver Beach has been recognized by Delta Airlines Sky Magazine as one... of the world's great beaches.
In the July issue, the 22-acre beach was recognized in a group of six "Great Escapes," along with beaches in Nice, France; Railay, Thailand; Santa Monica, Calif.; Cape Hatteras, N.C.; and Cape Cod, Mass.
