Yellow Slides: Follow the Voice - 2nd in a series by Lindsay Kyle Flashes of color. Laughter. Running barefoot through the grass. My brother and I swiped kitchen towels and wrapped them around us, magically transforming them into capes. Old paper towel rings became swords or spyglasses...

Hey there, Nikki. The fashion faux pas that, IMO, is worse than panty lines is the"muffin top", as my husband calls it. It's that band of flesh that is squished out of the top of low-rise jeans that the shirt fails to cover. C'mon ladies, cover it up.

I bought one thong. One.

Yellow Slides: Who are you becoming? - 1st in a series by Lindsay Kyle The smell of baby lotion. Sunscreen lathered on 1-inch thick. The plastic bottoms of my purple flip flops melt to the Louisiana sidewalk. My towel barely hangs on to the chair. I throw it in a hurry. I have to meet the water...

Girl You'll be a Woman Soon - 2nd in a series by Kim Shelton I tried to focus on the ceiling but the imperious numbers on my alarm clock seemed to push their way through the darkness and dance in my peripheral vision, much like a childhood bully, teasing...no mocking me that the night had only...

Love in the Face of Fear by Angela Burchett Some people enjoy being scared. I readily admit I’ve never been one for scary movies or for hearing ghost stories around the campfire. In fact, I still sleep with the light on when I’m home alone! I’...

Obviously there are a lot of "married young" success stories, praise God...and there are certainly equally as many "married young" marriages that failed. Success or failure is going to be far more dependent on your commitment to commitment and your willingness to surrender to God than the age you marry. I do believe maturity plays a big role in ... See Moremarital success...HOWEVER, maturity, as you well know, is not age specific.
Bottom line, seek wisdom from God, family and trusted friends before you marry and don't ignore any red flags that are raised.

These are all such interesting comments! We have more comments at the actual blog site as well (http://www.lily7.com/consider-lily/) -- so will be anxious to see if this discussion continues. As I wrote initially when posing this question, my seminary class discussed this for TWO hours... and still didn't have "one" answer. :) Lots to think through and weigh-in on for sure! Thanks!
