Typically, scammer asks for money for various shipping/vaccination costs or send a check (fake) for a larger amount than you had asked and later tell you it was a mistake and ask for the difference back. In both situations, you lose money and are out a... pet. If uncertain contact a professional to verify the site you are using or do some web research.

Saint Paul Police seek to return stolen property recovered through the investigation a metro-area burglary ring. Items recovered in the search warrants include: antique furniture, jewelry, sports memorabilia, collector coins, old dishes, collector dolls, tools, pictures, and other antique or distinctive household items....

St. Paul Police Department On December 17, 2009 sworn and non-sworn members of the Saint Paul Police Department escorted Santa, Mrs. Claus, and a few of their elves to Saint Paul and Gillette Children’s Hospitals. The “Cops and Kids” initiative provides gifts, support, and well wishes to children who are hospitalized during the holidays. In add...ition, the effort provides the hospitals with games, movies, and entertainment consoles that can be used by patients and their families during a hospitalization. Again this year, Cops and Kids fulfilled the special wishes and needs of numerous children (and their families), who face extremely serious and potentially life threatening medical conditions.
