Willamette University Executive Development Center If you know someone who is interested in participating in international Master programs in Strategic Leadership or in Innovation Toward Sustainability, these are my favorite programs. There is ZERO tuition for the coming year, but as of 2011 Sweden will introduce tuition fees for non-European students. The application ...period is very short and non-forgiving (Dec 1-Jan 15), and there will be many more applicants than the programs can handle. Tardies and incomplete applications will not even be considered, so serious applicants should follow all the instructions given online to the T.

Our Empowerment in A...ction series allows you to experience why the MBA and Executive Development programs at Willamette can take your career and your experience to new heights.
5:30pm - Networking
6:00pm - Presentation and Discussion
7:00pm - Wrap Up
Thursday, October 1 - "Sustainable Inspiration: Lessons from Antarctica"
Darcy Winslow, Founder of DSW Collective, and Program Manager of the Sustainable Enterprise Certificate at Willamette University will discuss the impact of climate change on our environment through her unique experiences and insights. The discussion will include photos and stories from her recent trip to Antarctica.
“In essence, the time has come for all of us to take personal responsibility in reducing our carbon footprint and influencing and engaging those around us to do the same. The impacts of our individual and collective actions are being increasingly felt and witnessed, around the world. It is up to us to make a positive difference, through deliberate choices and actions. This is not about compromise but about inspired innovation and unprecedented collaboration. There is no ‘silver bullet’ or magic cure to resolve the issue of climate change. We all must embrace the task ahead and be prepared to assess where we are and to act immediately. If each and everyone one of us work towards reducing our emissions we stand a chance of seeing results that will count.”
