A barrier to finishing the Cypress Community Church driveway was lifted Wednesday.
Off 68 Also: About 9:25 p.m. Monday, several burglars entered a Tierra Spur home, took a boat and fled with it when a burglar alarm activated. Deputies arrested Richard Snyder, and an unspecified number of other people. The suspects had warrants out for their arrest, were on felony probation/parole, and some fled the scene on... foot when contacted by deputies. All suspects were later captured.
Off 68 Couple of incidents from the Monterey County Sheriff's Office log today: Just before 8 p.m. Monday, someone spit and defecated on a vehicle parked at the Toro Park Shopping center on Portola Drive.
Off 68 The SPCA of Monterey County reports it believes it has located the person who abandoned three starving horses in a field along River Road earlier this week. Because the investigation is ongoing, the SPCA is releasing no details at this time.

York School held its annual Fall Fair on Oct. 17 as students, parents and faculty helped raise money for the school, with the financial aid program receiving the greatest contribution.
