Come join us at the corner of Michigan Ave. and North Ann Arbor street to kick off the holiday season by lighting the official Saline Christmas Tree. if you would like to donate an ornemant or two, hand made or purchased, drop them off at the Chamber of Commerce, ...141 E. Michigan Ave. or put them on the tree prior to Thursday, December 3rd at 4:00 P.M.

City of Salineさん Letters to Santa......the official Santa Mail Box will be arriving from the North pole on November 25, 2009. It will be located in front of Mac's on the corner of Michigan Ave. and South Ann Arbor St. All letters to Santa with a return address will be answered by the Saline elves as promptly as possible. The Mail box ...will return to the North pole on December 16, 2009.
City of Salineさん Last year the Saline Summer Music Series had 9 dates, 3 local bands & 6 regional bands. I am looking for thoughts and or ideas for 2010 on how to improve the series or what we can do differently to attract more folks.

Saturday, November 21, stop in and visit with the Saline Seniors and enjoy the Holiday Bake and Craft Sale starting at 9:00 A.M. and on Sunday, Novewmber 22, 2009 enjoy a "Turkey Shoot" at the Saline Area High School Gym.

Net Proceeds will benefit "The Fifth Corner" ($5.00 per ticket) the future teen center. Playing tonigth are "Defly Sly", "Echoes", "Redleader", "Jane Collins" and "the Old Fashion Knife Fight". A...ll ages are welcome and if you so desire, Come in Costume.

Halloween activities include the following: Halloween Hullabaloo at Liberty school on Friday Night starting at 5:00 P.M., Boo Bash on Saturday afternoon in Parking Lot #1 (behind the Pineapple House)stariing at 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., Trick or Treating through out the Saline community starting at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.... or when the porch lights have been turned off. If you would like your halloween candy scanned by a metal detector, stop off at the Saline Police Department after 7:00 P.M.

On Saturday, October 31, 2009 from 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. is a Service Saturday at City Hall. One can pay water bills, talk with someone from the Assessor's Office or Treasurer's Office or make a passport application.
In addition, all absentee ballots are due for the November 3rd, 2009 election.
