Quick update...
1. Registration is about to begin, but the school's schedule is available to see now. Just go to www.slcc.edu/schedule
2. If you have any questions about the Geography or GIS programs, please feel free to email me.
3. Soon the department hopes to have a GIS Certificate approved. Once that is officially ap...proved I'll send out more detailed information.

SLCC Geoscience Tomorrow (Wednesday) is SLCC's Tanner Lecture Series. It will be at noon at the South City campus. The school is expecting the Grand Theater to be full, so show up early. The focus of the lecture will be on climate change and energy. Hope to see some of you there!
SLCC Geoscience There will be a Career Fair today at the Redwood Campus from 10:00 to 1:00 in the Student Center. Come learn about all the potential career possibilites - including Environmental Geology, Geography, and GIS - the college has to offer. Hope to see you there!

SLCC Geoscience If you're interested in digital mapping, GPS, and satellite imagery, look into taking GEOG 1800: Spatial Technology & Analysis. It also fulfills the college's interdisciplinary requirement. It's offered in-class and online.
