Salt Lake City Green The Utah Department of Environmental Quality has called a "Red Air Quality Alert" condition for Salt Lake and Davis Counties today. Health Advisory: Sensitive people with respiratory disease or heart disease, the elderly, and children should reduce prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors. You are asked to drive as little... as possible during red and yellow days because cars contribute significantly to the area's air pollution.
