Rebecca Burton Hey Sammy! Wanted to let you know I and my friends loved Forest of Dreams. We saw it at QPAC on saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed it (apparently a woman next to one of my friends was telling her partner not to laugh because it wasn't funny -- i think she was seriously in the wrong venue). Not sure if you remember but as we were walking back to the Cremorne to see Anthony Menchetti, we passed you. I called out to you to say great show. And it was.

Today at work I got a bizarre phone call from one of my mates who saw the show, proclaiming he was a heroine addict before hanging up (admittedly, this was in response to a text where I'd told him I stab old people). Your show has infected our psyche and we only have you to blame!
Fantastic job; I only wish I could see it again! You've made me into a fan.

PS. Terry the squirrel still owes me my freaking door prize :)

We did enjoy the Menchetti, though we were all disappointed his show lacked puppets.
I wish I could remember more words apart from the obligatory 'fuck you, disney' chorus :)
I've just seen that you're taking Forest of Dreams to London. I know a few people in the UK that would really enjoy the show, I'll make sure they know about it!
Good luck with your touring, hope the audiences love it. I'm still a tiny bit scarred by seeing puppet boob, just so you know...

Julia You and Randy were very much appreciated by myself when you visited the IPAC in wollongong. The breastfeeding, uncomfortable realisticality emitted, brought tears (of hilarity) to my eyes, there's not enough of it in shows these days, so thankyou for sharing such an intimate moment. Also my husband was quite impressed by your cd :)

i saw your 1999 show at the comedy festival in melbourne, it was hilarious! A big group of Toorak College girls went to support you, however, everytime you would mention your mum it would be kinda awkward because we would all start laughing for no reason.. we recieved some very strange looks. lol
anyway, just sending some love from the toorak girls and we hope you can come a give us another lecture in the future..

Thanks Chantal, I remember that night. There were always a few random laughs from different in jokes every night, I actually had a whole scene set in D4 dancing class but had to cut it out because it was a) too long and b) not funny.
