Samurai Kids Series When I am writing about Japan I like to listen to shakuhachi flute music. Australia's Dr Riley Lee was the first non-Japanese Grand Master of the shakuhachi flute and one of the five musicians who stood on the top of the Opera House serenading the Year 2000 in. He is interviewed on the Samurai Kids website

I was one of those kids that ran around in their dressing gown, swinging a sword and throwing shuriken stars (playing both sides). I even fr...actured a bone doing a ninja roll off the front vrandah.
