Just arrived home in Vancouver after a wonderful 4-night stay in San Antonio at the Ayres Inn (would have been 5 nights if American Airlines hadn't cancelled our flight :( Anyway, we had a great time! The house is so spacious and comfy, the beds and linens are to die for and Hector and Mike made us feel very welcome.... Nibblies and beverages are available all day if, like me, you end up housebound for a day. Yes, it's a bit of a walk (or short bus ride) to downtown but the neighbourhood is lovely and quiet.Read More

1908 Ayres Inn As most of you know, our carriage house is being remodeled. The layout of the space is being completely changed. We're installing subway tile and black marble in the bathroom. We'll also have very cool light fixtures in the room. Overall, - trying to go for the chic, vintage - look. Here's a little preview -
