San Antonio-Bexar County Metropolitan Planning Organization On December 7th, after three years in the making, the Transportation Policy Board approved the MPO’s new long-range transportation plan, Mobility 2035. The long range transportation plan is a critical requirement for the cooperative, comprehensive, and continuous transportation planning process mandated by Federal law ...for all MPOs. As the blueprint for our future transportation system, “Mobility 2035” contains regional multimodal goals and policies as well as a financially constrained project list based on “reasonably expected” federal, state and local revenues. Altogether, Mobility 2035 programs 34 roadway projects for approximately $4.9 billion with another $5 billion listed for transit projects.
