ReadySanDiego A new allotment of H1N1 flu vaccine has arrived. It consists of pediatric and adult doses of injections and nasal spray (via County of San Diego).

The H1N1 vaccine is given to you in either a nasal spray or a shot. In general, nasal spray is not given to people with certain ongoing medical problems. A limited number of H1N1 flu nasal spray and shot vaccines were recently distributed throughout San Diego County.

26,000 doses of nasal spray vaccine will be available at various primary care physicians’ offices throughout the county. An additional 2,000 doses are being offered at County public health centers. Additional supplies of the vaccine are expected to arrive in coming weeks.
