SDSU Geological Sciences The Geology Department is please to host the internationally recognized geologist and global petroleum expert, Ken Deffeyes from Princeton University, on November 4th at 3pm in GMCS 301. He is currently finishing his 3rd book on the subject. His findings should be considered important to a wide audience and many depa...rtments across the campus. How much oil do we really have left? When should we start planning for the future? How do the current and future supplies of petroleum influence the global economy? All of these are important questions for the academic community as we teach the leaders of tomorrow.

Kim and Erin Olsen proudly announce the birth of their second child, Anya Olsen.
Anya was born on friday August 28 2009 at 9:20 pm. She is a healthy baby girl - 7 lbs 12 ounches (3.5 kg) and measuring 19 inches (48.25 cm).
