Hi there,it's me again.
I submitted my application on Nov 18th and my application was received by the school, and now I recognize that I have some mistake that I need to correct. Is there any way that I could come back and correct those mistakes?
Moreover, I couldn't activate my WEB PORTAL student account. They ask me ...for the social security number SSN , but I don't have one. So how could I log in to that? also, they don't accept my email address because they said that it's not a working one eventhough I'm using it right now. Please reply me as soon as possible. I really appreciate that.
Thank you so much

Hi,
As I said in your another wall comment, please contact the Prospective Student Center regarding your application :)
You do not need the social security number to creat your WebPortant account. You only need the RedID (student ID). Please retry to create your WebPortal account. If you have trouble again, the PSC will help you with WebPortal, too :)

You are not required to put your SSN to make a WebPortal account. If it still asks your SSN, put 0 and try if that works. If you still have a problem with making a WebPortal account, please contact the Prospective Student Center. They will be able to help you with WebPortal :)

Hi, I am a current student of Seattle Central Community College. I wanna transfer to SDSU in fall 2010, and actually i'm writing the application form right now. However, i'm having some trouble with some confusing question, which are:
* On educational information page -

a. what i'm supposed to fill out on the "academic... performance" box? It gives some examples like GPA, division, percentage, standing. Does it mean i have to choose one from one of those if my school uses one to count students grade?

b. Do I have to send my high schools and secondary schools grade to SDSU later on if I'm accepted?

Hi Cristina,
A. For "Academic performance" box, you put the type of grading scale your school have. If it's regular GPA 4.0 scale, put "GPA" in the box and put your GPA in "GPA" box. If it's something else like percentage, put the percentage you have in the box.
B. If you are accepted, you will need to submit a proof of high school graduation by the end of first semester at SDSU. I recommend you to have it ready so that you don't have to worry about it later:)
C. You need to put the number of units you've completed for "Work completed." For GPA, you need to put your current GPA.
D. The answer for "Are you eligible to reenroll at all institutions previously attended?" should be "Yes" if you do not have any hold or problem against your enrollment at school. ... Read More
Please also refer the answer that I gave below for Hector:)
Hope this will help you complete your application.

Hector He Hi,me again. I'm now wirting "Month course will be completed"box right. it asks when my courses are finished(month/year).. but i've found out that i could only choose 2009 and 2010 on the "year" box.. what if some of my classes completed in 2008? should i just wirte Jan 1 2009 instead of writing the specific date.?

Hi Hector,
"Month course will be completed" box is under "Courses in Progress" which means you are currently enrolled in those courses, so you only need to put courses you're currently taking. "Unit value" is the number of units of class.
Under "College/University/Postsecondary Institution Information" on page 5, you need to add college(s) you have attended and put the number of units you have completed in "Work completed" box.

Hope this will help you complete your application :)

Hi Julia,
In "Work completed," you need to put total units that you have already completed, so you don't include the units that you're taking this semester.
In "Department" for college courses, you put the department name of class. If it's Business class, put BUS. If it's Economics, put ECON.

Hi Minh,
TOEFL score is required (550 paper/213 computer/ 80 internet).
However, if you are a transfer student and have completed 60 semester units, TOEFL will be waved.
If you are applying as a Graduate student, GRE/GMAT is also required besides TOEFL.

Hi,
Are you a transfer student?
If you are a transfer student, you are starting as Junior when you enter SDSU, so you need to select "Junior" for "Entrance status/Education completed" in the very first section.
Please let me know if this doesn't solve the problem! :)

Ernie Kim Hey SDSU, I'm going to be studying abroad at San Diego State in Spring of 2010 next year. I was just wondering on what is the best way to get from the San Diego Airport to the San Diego State University campus, and how long and how much it would cost roughly. Cheers!

Hope this answered your questions.

2) What are the classes that I need to finish in order to get in this school?
3) And there are 2 forms that available online, I think. Which form should I fill in?

Thank you for spending time reading this!!
