San Diego Fine Art Society April just got back from Art Basel Miami Beach. It was incredible and admirable but daunting. If San Diego as an art center grows to a quarter of the size and scope of Miami we'd be in great shape. I had the feeling of exhilaration ane exhaustion. We should stop well short of that.
San Diego Fine Art Society Sculpture in the Gardens exhibition is featured in the Examiner. We invite you to visit San Diego Botanic Gardens to enjoy it! All the sculptures are available for purchase and the proceeds benefit the artist, our organization, and San Diego Botanic Gardens.

San Diego Fine Art Society Volunteers needed for Sculpture in the Garden reception tomorrow afternoon - if you have an interest and art and would like to help out checking people in, manning the refreshment tables, setting up chairs, handing out maps, or just generally being of service, we could definitely use your help! The reception is from 3-...5pm, we will need you from abot 2:00pm to 6:00pm. Thank you!

The San Diego Fine Art Society and San Diego Botanic Garden have joined forces for the second consecutive year to offer you "Sculpture in the Garden".
Please join us Sunday, November 15th from 3:00pm - 5:00pm for a free reception and self-guided tour to enjoy this special Phantom Gallery installation.
A Phantom Gallery i...s a temporary art installation in a non-gallery venue that is operated like an art gallery. This means that the artwork you see is available for your own garden or business.
Your acquisition of an artwork benefits you in several ways. The first is that you are bringing something beautiful and worthy into your life. The second, your purchase helps fund the good work of the San Diego Fine Art Society and San Diego Botanic Garden, both nonprofit, charitable organizations. The third is that it helps bring life to the regional art community, and sends a message that this is a worthy exhibition that we should continue.
