All right everybody, listen up.
I just got to see a sneak peek of MODERN COLLECTIVE to make sure everything was all good before the premiere showing - and let me tell you - It's all good!!!!

MODERN COLLECTIVE is a sick film that is shot extraordinarily well, has all kinds of waves in all sorts of colorful locations, fr...om perfect barrels to chunky onshore wedges. The music is good (there is one techno song which is a great place to break out your lightsticks), the editing is tight, and seriously the most contemporary surfing I have seen! Yeah there are airs and air 360s, but they are well balanced by all the sick barrels and deep carves. Mitch Colburn - are you kidding me...? Full tilt power hacks into sliding 360s? Siiiiiick...... There are no boring interviews, no contrived tales, the surfing tells the story here. I'm calling it a must see on the big screen.

The filmmaker Kai Neville will be there to host and introduce MODERN COLLECTIVE as well as Dion Agius, one of the six surfers featured in the film.
We will have goodies to pass out and Hagan of SUPER surfboards will be on hand to giveaway a new stick to a lucky movie-goer at the 9:30p showing.

We'll also get you amped for this weekend's huge swell with the trailer to Powerlines Production's new epic RIDE ON!
