Jayson reminded me that tickets cost less if you get them early! It's a benefit, so you don't have to feel like a chump if you pay a few dollars more, but get your team members to act now if you want a bargain rate. https://www.trilogyticketing.com/treasure/ -Gail

SF Treasure Hunts The 2009 Hunt will be on Sat. February 7, 2009 — 4:30pm - 9:00pm. Tickets are on sale right now.

The Chinese New Year Treasure Hunt is a unique urban sleuthing adventure quest played on the streets of Chinatown, North Beach, and Telegraph Hill on the night of the annual Chinese New Year Parade. Treasure hunting teams ha...ve four hours to solve sixteen clues leading them to obscure landmarks, forgotten architectural delights and vestiges of San Francisco's colorful past.

Proceeds from the treasure hunt benefit the educational programs of the Circus Center and the youth, seniors and housing programs of the Bernal Heights Neighborhood Center.

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN: This acclaimed event is created annually by Jayson Wechter & San Francisco Treasure Hunts, which creates unique team building events for corporations, conference and social events

Tickets and more are available at the http://www.sftreasurehunts.com/ site. (Several divisions of the hunt always sell out, so be sure to reserve as soon as you have a team together. A Facebook RSVP is a first step to clue in your friends, but it will not hold your place. You will need tickets to play.)

Invite your favorite smart, adventurous Facebook friends to this event. Players can come with a team already organized, or can join like-minded hunters at the event; it's a great way to make new friends.

"The treasure hunt compels players to look at things they've never noticed before: decades-old street gratings, elaborately carved cornices, signs for long-defunct businesses, urban art in unexpected places. They emerge with a greater appreciation of the many layers of our urban environment, reaching back through time and touching the stories of countless souls who have walked these streets before us. "
