Metropolitan Education District (MetroED) Master Gardener and Master Composter Ian Gerbode will cover the basic principles of composting: what goes in, what does not, where to locate the bin, what types of bins are available to purchase, or how to make your own compost bin. Also learn how to manage a compost pile once it is established and how to use the com...post in your home garden. The free workshop will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at MAEP's Erikson Adult Center.
