The speech on "counterfeit wine" went well..thanks to FB friends for help...today's question on the issue ..can i buy an insurance policy to insure that my bottle of wine is not counterfeit?

The current legal status of Parallel Importation within the EU, US and worldwide revisited and the overlap with Counterfeiting.
Since the AIDV last considered this topic, there have been significant moveme...nts in the laws dealing with parallel importation in some of the major wine consuming regions. Given the pressure on wine prices in the last 12 or so months, the threats of parallel importation are larger than ever.
In addition, parallel imports are commonly being accompanied by counterfeits, which are becoming themselves an increasing problem in the wine sector.
